A read enters the log the moment it is published, together with its market, price and risk score. Once the event finishes it is marked as landed or missed against that original entry. Because the rating is fixed in advance, the record cannot be tidied up in hindsight.
The units figure treats every read as a single flat stake so wins and losses carry equal weight. It is a plain measure of how the model has performed, not a promise of what comes next.
What the numbers do not say
- A landed read is not proof the next one lands. Sport carries chance on every play.
- Accuracy over a short window swings widely. A longer record tells a truer story.
- Odds and markets move. The price you find may differ from the one on record.
- These figures inform a decision. They never replace your own judgement.
